Several years after he had left his village Gar-adag Ibrahim Barre came with his brand new radio. Villagers had gathered around to see what was going on. Among them was the legend poet CAADLEEF. CAADLEEF was very enthusiastic to see the Radio and forgot to go back MIYI. The poet was MILKMAN, he came to sell his milk but he decided to listen the Radio. Next day he recited below TIX:

Dhiil baan sidoo
Waan la dheelman lahaayee
Dhalaan baa i dhawraayee
Dhii-dhiidaan dhegeysanaayey ma u dhaxay.

During the XARGAGA war by CAADLEEF "Inkastoo ragoodi ku lumay raacday libintiiye. Miyaynaan rogayn ceebta wa la iska reebaaye"

allah yaraham warrior poets such as Caadleef (1905 - 1974) and Caaqil Max'd Xaaji Ducaale "Axmed Yare" great poets! Although Caadleef seemed to be unique in his own way.

Caadleef in 1954 Location: Xargaga
