The new mayor of the coastal town Maydh

Postby Siciid85 » Sun Mar 03, 2013 4:23 pm

Hussein Abdirahman Sheikh Siciid Sheikh Yusuuf (Sheikh Siciid Maydh).

He is an educated man from the Diaspora and vowed to transform the coastal town. He's the guy wearing the suit in the front row.

Was Sheikh Siciid Maydh Jibril Adan or Ali Adan? I know he was Ibrahim Muse. The guy with the light blue shirt on the right of him is one of the Gadhweyn
Suldaans.

They seem to have a monopoly on the town, his uncle was the last mayor and now him, and they had a monoply on keeping the shrine.tomb of sheekh Isxaaq . The last was their duty, they should of stayed away from politics.

X.P I have also heard this is the same family that guards sheikh Isaaq's tomb from generation to generation, they got some deep connections to the place.
The town itself though most of the people are either Musa Carre or Jibril Tuurwa (Gadhweyn).

Of course they are that family, but replacing a nefew with uncle in my opinion is not healthy, this isn't Saudi Arabia or some Sheikhdom.

Saciid, yes they are the reer that guard Sheikh Isaaq's tomb. There was a time that all Warsangali Sultan mothers were from this family.

Lol@Saudi Arabia. That will change once other various HY resettle in it and invest in it as the town expands it will be the best man for the job. If this new mayor
from the Diaspora wants rapid growth and investment he should encourage resettlement.

That must have been longtime ago, cause today the nearest Warsangeli live is Gael Weyta about about 88 kilometers east of Maydh.
