Faqashtii used to say:

"Ninkii wadada Sheekh wanaag kumaroow wadkii Waadamagoo buu yaalaa"

Some of the hardest battles with the faqash was fought there, the SNM used to bomb the road in between Burco and Waadamago making it difficult for the enemy to get reinforcements from Burco. Runtii waa dhul taariikh leh, I was there just a few months ago but my hometown seemed to be forgotten by it's people.

Do you guys see starting at 2:41 the big river dry bed under the bridge and the two ladies sitting under the tree on the banks of the Togdheer river at 2:55 that is where the Togdheer seasonal
river drains at.

CaynabaX When the car arrives at Wadamago area one can see the roads there are severely damaged, perhaps it is a result of those past wars. Nevertheless a great video.

Great video. There is a substantial water table from Togdheer all the way to Eyl. Huge reserves for the North.
