Now the over all sultan today of the H.Y is ironically Maxamed Xirsi Qani , his father and brother were the only line he traces.
Cismaan Cali Madar his competator traces his father Cali, grand father Madar ,his 2 great great uncles sultan Cawd Diiriye and sultan axmed diiriye, the H.Y never regaded him and his father very much his father Cali died in Ethopia and defected to Heila Salasi during the 1960's, him too due to Cigaal's paying for his cermony and declaring himself a sultan in the middle of the civil war.
Those 2 are the only historical once, the political once are another 23, with 1 exception Xasan Bulul which was a sultan during the SNM in the Hawd , am not sure what his line is his son Maxamed Xasan Bulbul is a sultan ...repersenting who i do not know he is reer suguule too.
