Siad Bare government completely and the liberation of Somaliland, he made a deal with SPM and USC in Baligubadle to use them as condoms to destroy whatever
was left of the Siad Bare government in south Somalia. He is the man that liberated the country, the last SNM chairman and the first Somaliland president,
sure he had his short comings but the positive things he did for Somaliland(liberating it) outweigh the negatives. Cigaal only fixed the same problems he created
by inciting civil war thinking he can exclude other groups from the cabinet , his arrogance cost him his leadership and his administration being confined to
neighborhoods of Hargeysa and Berbera until 1997 Hargeysa reconciliation.
