Palm trees in Somaliland and Somalia are overrated, they're not even the good looking type designe for cities found in Canary islands and California,USA.
Just plant trees that provide shade well and make the area more beautiful like this new trees planted in Maydh.

No, it's a creation of Allah, not a f-king tree, dameer foqol dameer.Ducaysane hot beds like berbera should have palm trees planted in them, a village in sanaag has some outstanding amount of canary date palm trees naturally grown there (gudmo)
