Somaliland agriculture and reforestation programmes/projects

Postby LiquidHYDROGEN » Fri Jul 05, 2013 5:36 am

I've made a thread for any news of agriculture and farming initiatives back home, as well as a thread for people to post info and ideas on trees, shrubery and flowers that would be suitable for SL's semi-arid environment. I'll go first;

Mesquite tree, Chitalpa, Olive and Fig trees, Junipers and Poplars.

OK your beloved date palms are added too. Although it would suit Berbera and Maydh coastal climates.

Did any of you take seeds of those trees you purchased from the west to Somaliland through western airports before? What is the law on that for those who
did so.
