I dont care if we form alliance with the devil himself as long as we are in this state of stagnation with completely no tangible progress
being led by old un creative tired fat cats who are only interested in filling up their back pockets . we are doomed to uncertain future.

I stopped taking serious what Hawdian has to say long ago. Maalinba sheeko aan loo joogin ayuu kuula imanyaa. Bal imika how many countries has he already joined with Somaliland so far? Ethiopia, Somalia and Djibouti! and still counting.
Now since he has exhausted a union with all neighbouring countries, what will be next? will he soon be talking about uniting Somaliland with Yemen though a bridge in the sea?
Should we also expect a union with Eritrea, Kenya and Uganda through air?
I am waiting you next crazy idea for my entertainment sxb.

Interesting idea Hawdian for a proud self confessed house trained Ethiopian stooge it's not a bad start. But, your ideas have a few holes which I will try and point out.

Forgot the Ethiopia idea. We have no interest in being slaves to anyone . We are men who would rather die standing then bend to our knees as you have for a small tribe like the Tplf. For a man to admit this and be proud like you afterwards, you wouldn't understand Somalilands existence nor do we expect you. We destroyed a dictator far greater than anything Ethiopia could ever have for the soul reason not to bend to anyone as second class citizen.
In short we are the free born Isaaq's you are the slave born Isaaq we would never agree on anything. You have a master we have more in common with them than you because we both control our destiny in our hands.

Khalid,

If Habashi is xaar to you. How come Isaaqis in Somaliland were over the moon when they saw a tabloid article about Ethiopia protecting them from the rest of Somalia?

How come you guys can't wait for Ethiopia to sign minor agreements with you? These agreements will occur between Hargeisa and Jijiga.

Isaaq in Ethiopia only used to treat this region as only their grassing region for their livestock never for settlement but all that will change with the next generation which I hope to kick start.

Somaliland region has no solution and it can't stand alone. One tribe can't be a state and today its even smaller than one tribe.

Isaaq like me would block Somaliland region from Ethiopia and would kindly ask them to go work things out with their other Somalis otherwise both Ethiopia and Somalia have no choice but to make you submit by force and that day might come sooner rather than later.

Ethiopia doesn't need a tribal entity, we rather deal with Somalia as a whole as a nation and have common border. I know this is how the Federal Government in Addis Ababa feels and soon will speed up diplomatic engagement with Mogadishu...what is somewhat troubling is though Cullusow's close ties to Egypt and this is only temporary.

Ethiopia keeps the little tribal madness in the triangular a float by unloading little aid from Berbera.

hargaysaay,

At the time it was the right thing to do and we are glad we saved a lot of innocent civilians regardless of their clan but those days are gone. Soon we will be on the side of Mogadishu because thats the right thing to do and its not long before our Prime Minister in Addis Ababa honours our wishes. We, Somali Ethiopians, would love to see all Somalis united because its beneficial to Ethiopia as well and the whole region.

We need to focus on integrating the whole region and not sponsoring tribal entities who are mad because of one man's action. Addis Ababa should never entertain the triangular project because that means we are also endorsing the Abay Tigray project and their secession bid, the Gambella, ONLF agenda and OLF.

The long term interest for Ethiopia is unified Somali Federal Republic that has faded national borders with Ethiopia since these region will greatly benefit from all Somalis integrated without seeking secession and without them being oppressed and isolated.

If we Somali Ethiopians block Hargeisa, its little tantrum will come to a quick end very soon rather than later. We freed them and we hold their freedom in our hands. All we have to do is block the little business activity in Wajale and watch the economic sanction do its magic...it won't be long before 60% of the population will be in Mogadishu seeking jobs and new source of income.

Xabashis have nothing to offer us saaxib i dont know what isaaq got excited but the vast majority of Somalilanders know as me that the bug eyed xabashi do not care between Somaliland and the walanweyns. we dont care for xabashis they dont have anything we need xabashis are poor as hell and are kept alive because of AID from the United states and the European union. Xabashidu mala adigay wax kula yihin , but they have nothing to offer us, what are the so called agreements about other than security . ONLF no so qa qabta iyo wax la mid ah dude we dont care about that. The Tigray peasants have nothing to offer us they gonna protect us from Somalia , what Somalia , the Toothless SFG or the crazy pirates , or the Alshabaab of godane or the African union troops, dude its bulshit. Somalia as an entity today is dead. Saaxib Xabashida urayaa toodi bay u taag la yihin.

First of all Ethiopia or the TPLF policy is never driven by Somalis who are 3rd class citizens in Ethiopia , Somalis in Ethiopia are nothing they are the most marginalized community and you are talking about the isaaq clan in Ethiopia, as if they have a say about the Ethiopia foreign policy. We know the Ethiopian Foreign policy it is to keep the balance between all entities of the former dissolved Somali republic. They keep and maintain normal defacto bilateral relations with Somaliland also they have relations with the entity in Puntland and Galmudug. And also with the Somali federal government. And they also endorsed behind the scenes Jubbaland. But they want to mediate between Jubbaland and the SFG so they did not fully support in the open Jubbaland. Xabashis understand the Somali political conflict. Xabashis do not care about Somaliland recognition they believe Somaliland should be recognized but not by them because they would be seen as those who are balkanizing the Somali republic. They would also lose their friends in Mogadishu and the Daroods in Somalia. So they remain neutral, we know this , the status quo is fine for the xabashis making no enemies only friends lol  Zenawi understood the Somali political conflict. But we do not care about the bug eyed xabashis nor what they like the same with the Arabs , we only push our own agenda. If Somali ethiopians were great they would have fought for their rights and they would not be treated as shit people
