Since when did a small sub sub-clan had an influence on national matters in Somaliland? Cidii rabta inay Media ha ka hadasho cid u diidaysaa ma jirto oo wadanka wax dimuqraadiyad iyo xoriyatul-qawl la yidhaa ayaa ka jira. Laakiin arimaha petrol ku waa wax national matter ah, afar oday oo reer miyi ah oo hotel isku urursaday
oo wax aanay fahansanayn ka hadlayaa wax saamayn ah oo ay ku yeelan karaan arimahan oo kale ayaaba iska yar  .

Since they own the lands, land in Somaliland is not state owned. And for your info they are not small, they are larger than many sub clans in Gabiley.
They are influential enough to put a halt in the exploration in their areas whether it is Kabadheere, Toga Togdheer, Aroori etc. As seen in yesterday.
Marka iis jiir, ado reer Xuseen wax ka sheegaya yaan lagugu arkiin Burco, they are very influential in that city and the original natives. The large
wealthy Reer Huseen diaspora in Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda also supported the outcome in Burco.

Your own Gabiley websites.

True land is not state owned but all natural resources under the land is state owned.

It is not tabloid, it is in every Somaliland websites , shaqaada waxa laga hakiyay deegaankooda ee galbeedka Togdheer ila muranka la xaalinayo, laakin
deegaanka HJ in the video ee bariga Togdheer lama haakin it is a place called Naqdhibiijo. Dhuulka soo kala barta. I wouldn't say it is truly state owned,
we both know what happened to the cement hills in Sahil.

This is Somaliland we are talking about, where almost every inch of land is tribal owned. If the natives feel they are not included, they have a right to halt
it. You can't simply come to other people's lands and try to disrespect them. Compromise is the solution, at the end of the day the land is the same land
where their camels and other livestock graze, so it could be a environmental concern as well.

Nothing is being halted
A small sub clan made some noises in the media and some tabloid papers got excited, that is all.

No one knows if there is oil in SL or not that is why we do have exploration in our land to find out
if we have something. But I have no doubt exploration will proceed as planned and drilling of the
of the first wells in Ainaba and Oodweyne will be no later than June 2014
