True land is not state owned but all natural resources under the land is state owned.Since they own the lands, land in Somaliland is not state owned. And for your info they are not small, they are larger than many sub clans in Gabiley.

No one knows if there is oil in SL or not that is why we do have exploration in our land to find outTbh, we do have oil but I doubt any exploration is going to happen.
