Amiir aamiir became callbox recently
I do hope ceerigaabo road project goes well. This is one of the most important project ever in Sl. Thus could be Silanyo's political legacy just like Obama's signature healthcare.

I do hope the same but this Xirsi guy is quite shady. There is rumors circulating around that he wants to use the money to construct a road
between eastern Berbera and western Ceel Afweyn instead of Burco - Ceerigaabo route.

What I've learned about Somaliland politics is that if you want to get something done, you do it yourself. I wouldn't be surprised if it was discovered that Siilanyo and co. were pocketing the donation money.

i gotta be honest and say i dont support this burco to ceerigaabo road. It raises lotta questions why the government is supporting this road when already the following projects exist:

-Hargeisa to Salaaxley
-Gabiley to Djbouti
-Burco to Hargeisa

Burco and Erigabo are very important towns. This road is vital for business and military reasons.

We shall see ...however I think in this project they are being honest
We should all support the Burco-Ceerigaabo Road

Hobariiska ....The Burco-Ceerigaabo road is more important.
It will connect our biggest though sparsely populated region
aka Sanaag to the heart of Somaliland, Ceerigaabo is the only
major town without a asphalt road connecting it to the rest of SL.

Anyone seen the fundraising event in London a couple of nights ago
£150 000 was pledged for the road on that night alone.

I also heard that guy who owns the oodweyne block pledged £300 000
at some other event. I'm sure there'll be others like him

Target is $30-40 million dollars (may go up or down final price not known).
Silaanyo's government have pledged $4 million from
next years taxes and maybe the same amount or more the year after.

 Bro Erigabo is more important than a bunch of occupied dusty villages. It is the most important city in the east and needs to be connected to the rest of the country.

Once again its a pity that foreign citizens (diaspora isaaq) are building roads in a region that taxes the native people and does very little.
