Le Justicier, Sahal thinks when Somaliland attains de jure recognition Somalia is going to cease to exist. Siduu u xanaaqay waxaad moodaa in Somalia la waayayo and an atomic bomb is going to erase Somalia from the face of the earth.
Waan arkaa had iyo jeer his emotional speech. Allah ha u sahlo.
No envy or emotions whatsoever, I'm just not being idiot and if this is not the mother of logic what's is a logic then? Is the logic to chop off the branch I'm sitting on or to shoot myself in the foot?

Mogadishu has no importance without the red sea and the arabian sea, puntland could follow somaliland too and may cause wars in there.

recognizing somaliland will make us a failed country just like the zanjibar has disappeared from the political map (remember we never had sea borders with kenya but with the muslim state of zanjibar and this is why kenya is refusing now our old sea borders based on the 1914 agreements when mombasa was part of zanjibar)

Its not helping to overcome your misfortune on the expense of my opportunities

Look at the political map wich makes mogadishu a very important place because of somalia, all these countries(egypt, yemen(bc of its south also igaal declaring his recognition of adan) sudan, eritrea, arabs, djibouti are anti-somaliland. djibouti is one of the most countries who are againist somaliland state wich could be a potential competative in the port trades. Ethiopia itself is worry about its southwestren part becoming a country wich has the great dam and egypt is suppoting them now through asmara. Hate the game not the player!, I'm out!.

You guys don't waste your time with this isbaro merchant masquerading as a politician Sahal. Waa reer miyi asal ah and his political knowledge can be reduced to nothing more than gossip he picks up while on his daily rounds of cleaning.

As for the topic the day Somalia agreed to have these discussions with Sonaliland on the otherwise and a third party to mediate it accepted Somaliland wishes. Since than it's the dance to get the people used to the idea of a Somaliland government independent of Somaliland.

This is the same people Somaliland collected 700,000 USD to feed their starving people in 2011. That 700,000 was collected from school children donating their lunch money to civil servants giving a portion of their Salary and the average person donating what ever they can at the Masjids. Somaliland does not have de jure recognition and it gave the 2nd highest donation in Africa after South Africa which is an economic power house. Not only that we've housed their refugees since 2006 and some of them still live in Somaliland to this day. They were welcomed so well, they had the audacity to complain on Al-Jazeera that they do not get a right to vote. They can't live in peace in their own country and they want to demand what is not theirs. Waa bahalo runtii. The looting and bililiqo they talk about, it was perfected in Hargeisa, Berbera, Ceerigaabo & Burco from 1988-1991. Waa duul ku soo koray xaaraan. Hal xaaraan ihina nirig xalaal ah ma dhasho. There is a famous somali proverb that says...Cuqubo halkii lagu galay ayey caw ku hurudaa, caruurtay ka laysaa ninkii caano baas dhamaye. Waa kuwaa 23 years isku daba wareegaysanaya.

There are a few decent indvididuals, lakiin the vast majority of them waa JIRRI/Mooryaan from Bosaaso to Kismaayo and everything in between. They will do anything to try and put one over each other, from using Ethiopian troops in Mogadishu to using Kenyan troops in Kismaayo.

Sahal's mind set can be summed up with one somali saying ' Baqali ma dhasho wax dhalana ma jecla'.
sxb you can keep your periodic calaacal on somalinet, I am sure this time it will be every three months time but regardless the talks will continue and will lead to its logical conclusion; a referendum by Somalilanders.
But let us assume stupidity prevails on Somalia's side and they unilaterally withdraw the talks, it will only lead to Somalia's current government losing credibility and hence international support both diplomatic and financial drying up rapidly. On the Somaliland's side, at worse, it will have a neutral effect, and with or without recognition, by 2017 Somaliland's ecconomy will be at least three times larger than that of Somalia. In three to four years time, Berbera port will be developed and the corridor to Ethiopia will be realized leading to over 800 million dollars of government income. I am not even factoring in the economic boom that might also be realized if the on going oil explorations succeed. With or without recognition, Somaliland will prosper and will get stronger and poor Somalia will never pose any threat. You can chose friendship and brotherhood based on the shared somalinimo now or you can chose a war you will certainly lose. To Sahal and the like minded people from somalia, the choice is yours.

AhluHutu, I know you are dump but that prediction is not even controversial. Tell me any probable bath to a meaningful economic growth for Somalia in the next five years.

There in no point in conversing with dump people like you but there is no a big potential for economic growth in Somalia in the near future. The income of Somalia's government will primarily be dependent on the revenues from the ports of Moqdisho, Kismayo and may be Bosaso and some taxation raised from Bakara market and other smaller markets. The sum of those revenues will not amount to anything more than 300 millions dollars annually. In Somaliland with the development of Berbera-Wajale corridor, it will be targeting the lucrative Ethiopian export market which will net an over 800 million dollars of revenues annually for the government.

Mohamed Bihi Yonis have exaggerated claims about the benefits of the conference. He also lied to his interview to HCTV before the meeting "Waxaanu walaalahayaga u sheegidoonaa mawqifkayaga" when he knows the agenda is only confidence building. Besides he referred "atrocity word" Xasuuq!! waar ninku indha adakaa?

why cry and whine about atrocities when they won't even demand from the Moqadisho goverment to exterdaite at least Morgan??? Isaaq should be ashamed of themselfs our politcians don't want to bring to court all the war criminals they only use it polticaly. The genocide that were commited by Afweyne loyalist during the 1980's have nothing to do with somaliland's statehood. Mixing the tow without even been honest about the atrocities and bringing to court the war cirminals is a triple lost for the average Isaq.

Most of the politicians in SL have not witnessed the atrocities so for them it doesn't mean shit, it's just used as a political tool. You have people like Ina Warancadde who worked for the NSS who didn't have the balls to defect to the SNM and fight and die like a man talking about ''waa nala laayay''.

Besides what does empty words from southern politicians really mean when their population (including themselves) think that we made this up and to counter our legitimate claims and arguments that Afweynes regime resorted to State terrorism, they say ''Somali oo dhan baa is leysey'' :mindblown:

Kaba daran, you'll hear Silaanyo say ''dadkaanu walaalaha nahay'' :mindblown:

Fuck these people..

You are r7ght meyle, very disappointed with silanyo, sitting in the meeting just gossiping, is this some sort of joke. Just today one insider, dunno his name said the truth to what happened indoors..
they havent agreed on anything, they're just convincing the sl officials to keep talks secret, till its time for them to break it down to sl citizens that the quest is over for independence.
I feel that sl made a bad move in even contacting with them in the first place.
