The woman talked about how convenient Telesom's Zaad service is and how it serves as an alternative banking system. I don't think you need an interpreter for this.

What's your opinion on the whole ZAAD system or the mobile banking system in a country that has no official currency? I always tell my friends that Zaad is not real. The so called money in the mobile in a country that has no recognized currency is no different than the online points/currency ones earns through online games.

Zaad service is very real sxb if your account is running low on money, you'll have to top it up and they don't use SL shillings they use the USD. I think it is a great innovation because even the nomads are using this service to purchase/sell livestock, food and in some cases even water it shows how easy and manageable it is mar hadii geeljire qadh ah uu isticmaalayo. The only thing I'm concerned about is how secure it is.

Hawdian sl shilling or Somali shilling is not really either but people still trust it. The only real issue is security.
