The last time SL militia and Walawein's professional army went head to head, the end result was this...(you can make all the excuses you want in the world but SNA's biggest battalions and divisions including 26th and 54th divisions are buried here - RIP).

Image

Today, things are on the opposite side of the scale. Walaweinia has 5,000 militia and SL has 35,000+ professional army

What chance does Walaweinia has guys?

The mistake Ethiopia made was going inside Mogadishu without any experience in urban warfare.

Somaliland will avoid going inside towns and will chase Walawein across the desert...camp around main roads and control trade and also play friendly clans and regions to their advantage.

Supporting Rahawein with the six-State is a good start and the Rahawein are capable of fighting when they get to the boiling point. They were the only ones who stood up to Barre's last battalion and the USC under their RRA flagship.

The Rahawein can be harnessed after all Walaweins call them Eeley. They are also missing many of their regions to Walawein. Walawein are very weak you just have to know where to hit them. So far Landers have the record against them...you see utilizing Hutus under USC and Ali Wardhiigley (SNM vice-President) was a master stroke.

Today is no different and after all it only takes one Idoor to send the whole Walaweinia into chaos (ina Godane). Ethiopia didn't know who they were fighting, the region or who was who and who was with who but Landers do. Their problem is this silly containment non-interfering policy.

Actually the xabashis had the Su-27 the f16 was from their cadaan masters who were heavily involved throwing their shit from the sky and sea while giving the raw meat eaters and their adviser on the ground satellite images.

Every enemy that underestimate us left with their tails behind their legs. Anyways keep repeating that you could achieve what you're saying and in the end you might actually start to genuinely believe it.

there are problems, even if you miraculously came up with the $100 million plus logistical cost to transport the men and material south,
you have

1. ethiopians= you will be interfering in their plans, wanlaweyn is their imperial domain, no interferance will be allowed.
2. Amisom/UN the UN already hates us they are venomously anti-somaliland, darood are frienemies compared to them and they will scream so loud
bringing the entire international community down on us.

and finally the somaliland millitia is shit, it is half trained and slightly better than the other millitias.
but then again its not nuclear science , all you need is a half decent command and good logistical management i.e keeping the fuel, ammo and food/water available all the time. With that you can easily defeat an equal quality half trained millitia, even one larger than you.

if all the criminally incompetent and corrupt officials in the south are eliminated, and replaced with others that are sincere non corrupt but have zero
experience or training, i am sure alshabab will be wiped out quickly.

alshabab has no real threats really, because those f-king bastards will continue to manage the somali army for the forseable future.

fighter jets are useless against guerilla forces, but helicopters will make the most hardened mujahid that is ready to blow himself up, piss his pants.
The ethiopian hinds did most of the killing, i do not believe any UIC millitia man died from bombing raids,.
The ethiopians used tanks and apc/ifv's against the technicals, unless you have skill and possess anti tank guided missiles
you will not be able to scratch the paint of a T-55, and you cannot get close to use the rpg-7's because there are thousands of ethiopian infantry
protecting them and will shoot you first before you can get close to a tank.

For helicopters they had the Mil Mi-24. Even if lets say they were weak in the sky they had the West who weren't and were physically involved.

I've never understood this. If the UN is anti-SL secession then they would welcome SL involving itself in the southern quagmire. Why would they UN be antagonistic towards SL? SL is already an NGO haven. Complete with corrupt and ineffective government officials.

Also what will Xabash do if we involve ourselves in Somalia? What can they do? They will say don't interfere and we will say don't involve yourselves in out business. Then what? They'll invade the North?

Everything else I agree with you though. The SL forces are a glorified militia. It needs a shake up. It would take a year or two to get it properly running and equipped. Establishing fuel, ammo and food depots all over the countty as well.

Any half decent effort from outside the current government will succeed spectaculary even with a half trained millitia,
success threatens the UNand AMisom, if alshabab is gone, they will have to leave tommorow as well no more cushy jobs in nairobi and no more super salaries for the troops,.
they will be back to ugali and beans instead of the chicken and meat and fish they eat every day,,..
Also what will Xabash do if we involve ourselves in Somalia? What can they do? They will say don't interfere and we will say don't involve yourselves in out business. Then what? They'll invade the North?
yes they can, whats stopping them from moving troops inside somaliland, they can call it anti-terroist activity, nobody will believe it
but the worst that will happen is that the US and EU will tell them they are naughty boys and should behave,
they will then leave after killing hundreds of our men to make a point.

I know they'd get nothing more than a slap on the wrists and not even a decrease in aisd from the UN and US. But I doubt even they're so brazen. The whole world knows the south as a shithole home t pirates and terrorists. But I feel there are more than a few people that know about SL and it's "democracy" and "stability". But you can't rule out anything in war and politics. If they do try then they must be made to pay dearly for it. I just can't imagine they'd be so wreckless as to sully their "friendly" relations with SL by attacking it. I'd probably get want I want, an anti-ethiopian SL at the cost of a few hundred soldiers (it might sound evil) but I'd say that's a bargain. It would also be the perfect testing ground for a reinvigerated SL army.

bro my question is how can you send troops or help anyone when (1) you haven't even closed your borders. (2) you fully haven't captured all the land you claim (3) when as we speak anti SL elements are having meetings in taleex plotting your downfall while you watch from the side line.
Why do reer somaliland tell themselves riyo iyo been??
You can't even capture the area between qorilugud and Buhoodle in Togdheer and you are talking about Taleex near Bari?
Do you think Dhulbahante waa lomoyaan, so that you can dismantle a meeting of their Saladins and Garads??
I say think again :stylin:
Watch the tv tonight because those are already dismantled. dhulbahante are not looma ooyaan but they are somaliland citizens, protecting their unity under somaliland flag is No: 1 priority.

Logistics would be the biggest obstacle to this the plan could work if its worked out in the precise details, if the Ethiopians and us agreed on a common strategy on Somalia particularly the rahanweyne state it could be done with in 2 years. We would have set a range of logistics network from Kurmis to Qoroxay all the way to baydhabo. The Xabashis really speak with two mouths one mouth they speak to us and one mouth to the walanweyn. but the xabashis would not be the biggest problem the European union would be , we have to convince them that we helping in the peace and stability of Somalia we would need a different kind of diplomacy to convince them that Somaliland is training one of the federal states of Somalia.

Hawdian might know this but Meles once in 2007 said he wants 5 states for Somalia puntland Jubbaland rahanweyne land and hawiye land. But the technicality to make it happen is a bit difficult we could reach and secure two main points first to under mine the Darood state in Kismayo second to have a foot in Somalia. The walanweyns already accuse us of funding Amiir Godane when we have done non. Our policy to Somalia is very weak its like that we just want to shut our selves down from them but this strategy is not working we must have our foot in Somalia like all the countries in the region even tiny Djibouti has troops in Somalia, Eritrea is sponsoring Alshabaab, Ethiopia has troops in Somalia Kenya has Uganda has. If the walanweyns were in our position they would not be that generous and peace loving, but the iidoor elites in Hargeysa need some sort of awakening, Sillaanyos kulmiye regime seems to be more daring but not to the fullest as we want to have our own political tools inside Somalia.

The delusional thinking is unbelievable. You are a bigger clown than most of the Daroods on Snet.

Cali Wardhiigley was against Siad Barre since 1969 whilst your SNM gudoomiye Siilaanyo was in cahoots with him. He joined every opposition party in a genuine anticipation of ending the regime but when it became clear SNM was a clan project he left your bits and set up base in the South. AUN he didn't live to see the regime fall completely but indeed his party removed Afwayne from power and his Faqash ideology was killed for ever.
