The oldest mosque is also around the same time and that is well into the 1300's , even Sacaad Al Diin tomb doesn't predates Sheekh Isxaaq.

Behold somalis
Here is the evidence and much more

and for the translation

It does emerge in this hagiographic narrative, a fact of no certainty. The issaq themselves have observed that the pilgrimage to the grave of their eponymous ancestor in Maydh is very recent and that beyond the legend says that ancestors from sheikh issak and his two wives, their genealogies have no more historical character.

X playa your saying the tomb is the oldest structure without evidence or facts. That is just preposterous, the tomb was built recently look at the construction of it. You are the first to claim something like that.

a hole in the ground (grave) does not constitute a structure, the tomb thing came afterwards everyone knows that.

I would say the oldest structure in Somaliland Is Masjid Al Qibaltain, for Islamic structure, but let's say ancient punitie stuff and our ancient history there's more things older then that but I digress.

The tomb 'thing' came shortly afterwards, and there are older strutures than Qiblatain. Infact what's left of Qiblatain is the mihrab, in Aw Barkhadle the only Somali archeologist Dr Sada Mire discovered ancient walls round the area, and she also found Chinese, as well as Greco-Roman pottery dating probably 2000 years or more ago, to suggest the oldest structure in the lands of Somalis is one that was built 1,400 years ago is not being true at all.

That's why I mentioned the Puntite etc. History,

for Islamic structure Masjid Al QIbaltain in my opinion is the oldest. And Greco Roman pottery does not constitute a structure. Where did Dr. Sada Mire find the Ancient Walls??

I think in Gabiley there's this thing called Degaax Maroodi or something but the locals are f-king it up building toilets out of it and destroying the site. I saw it in one of her videos. I think that is thousands of years old.
