If they begin to engage in Riba, mark my words Allah will destroy the wealth of that nation.

ok that is a good step in terms of recruiting a lot of somaliland youth.....as far as i know the Parliament only allowed private banks that have islamic financing ,i.e, no interests ( riba) only MURABAHA, which is aproved by the organization of the Islamic conference.

the worrying part is I just came to know that dahabshiil is exempt from paying taxes..!!...why is that...!!.

Adduunkaa saas u shaqeeya idiot baa tahee. Why doesn't Allah destroy the wealth of the united states? And islamic banks only pretend that they have found some loopholes but one way or another they do engage in riba. Dadka xoolaha ahh uun baa waxaa loogu sheekeeyaa.

I know its in the Quran. But that is not what we are discussing here is it? Nor are we talking about what a Moslim's intentions are if and when he chooses to deal with riba. We are simply talking about how the world currently works and how the so called "Islamic banks" themselves deal and interact with all the banks around the world; other banks whose primary method of making money is via interests/riba. As if that is not bad enough they come up with halal looking packages to make money off simpletons who think they are engaging in riba free transaction.

With regards to Dahabshiil not paying taxes; I think that is a load of rubbish. I was under the impression that only big companies pay taxes in Somaliland though being typical greedy rich people they manipulate the system. I would be surprised if he doesn't pay any taxes how ever little, and if you have sufficient proof that he does not I would urge you to follow it up and bring him to justice. Report him to the police the bastard, I despise rich people.

Somalia works on a system called laaluush, which means you can do what you want as long as you got that cash money. Diaspora run the government why wouldn't you able to vote or get a passport?

Hahahaa the U.S is crumbling as we speak, you doughnut, Allah will bring down that nation to it's knees, the government of the U.S is submerged in debts that they cannot repay, do you think the Qur'an is a storybook or a reminder to all mankind?

Now we have these micro-uncle sams in Somaliland who kneel before the whitehouse as their supreme lord and saviour, nacala kugu taale kelab yahow oo bila caqli ah.

It is for NGOs to use not local people.
Wrong. Why would they prevent locals from using it? NGO's?

lool a Bank will refuse to hold your money? I have an account and so do my fam, who are locals.

If you have the minimum $15 you're good to go.
I heard in Hargeisa there is cash machines where you can withdraw your money using your Visa, Mastercard etc
from the west.
Apparently there is one, however I haven't looked for it/heard of its whereabouts.

Don't quote me Sii Baakthii, xaq tuuf. I will be using Salaama Bank/Zaad service, I will not use Dahabshiil. Bye.
