john drysdale of somaliland aka cabas idris

Previously known as John Drysdale and after conversion to ISLAM he changed his name to cabad idris is SOMALILAND Citizen of a british origin, he first came into somaliland in 1943 as member of the British forces, he moved back to Somaliland after the defeat and collapse of the faqash regime and attended the Burco conference in 1991 where Somaliland declared regaining their independence from the failed state of somalia.
Mr.cabas idris came back in 1993 to settle permanently in Somaliland were he served as a presidential consultant for the government of Mohamed Ibrahim cigal ,May ALLAH have mercy on his soul, latter on he founded an NGO called Cadastral Surveys, that makes a Natural Area Codes and a Geographic Information System (GIS) database that enables the farmers in Somaliland to gain legal title to their land. his company managed to assigne Natural Area Codes to 3500 farms in Somaliland.
