We're not Arabs and if you're referring to Sheikh Isxaaq, I can tell you that the Somali language spoken approximately hundreds of years ago when he came to the Horn of Africa was more or less like the May dialect. It's the only dialect that still resembles proto Somali. The reer Waqooyi dialect as we know it belong to Isaaq and the same goes for the nasab reer Waqooyi culture.
