The thing is though that Somaliland isn't all about ictiraaf, only feeble minds think that way. Somaliland is home, it is where we were born and raised and so did our parents and their parents. I respect you for seeing the light. You ain't the only Isaaq that has the seen the light, there are many that have realised the truth. Somalia is at a cross-road and is in a recovery phase. In the next 5 years, the recovery phase will be most likely over, this will result in a wide-scale economic and infrastructural development. It is wise for the secessionist to realise this, before they isolate themselves even more. I'm sure by then the non-Isaaq Somalilanders will throw a revolt after seeing the gold-mine the Konfuur has struck and they will want piece of the pie. This will only further isolate the Isaaq clan and potential make them the black-sheep of Somali society. Time is all in the essence, and no amount of praying for a prolonged conflict in South Somalia will make it a reality.
