If you want to join Dowlati Islamiiya you should go to Iraq or Syriasheekada tabloid newspaper baad wata. don't ever bring that angle in SL section.
Mujahid is a title nothing more nothing less just like how the tawheed on the flag is symbolic it doesn't mean we are an Islamic State.

Is that what you imagine when you think of wadan islaam ah?If you want to join Dowlati Islamiiya you should go to Iraq or Syriasheekada tabloid newspaper baad wata. don't ever bring that angle in SL section.

From what I have read in this thread, and seen in the newsclip, I do not seeI hope I am not the only one who feels embarrassed with landers trying to associate everything with idealising the white man.Somalilanders are so cringy ya ilaahi.

You have to differentiate the difference between a Majority Muslim country and an Islamic State that represents all Muslims like the Caliphates. The closest thing to it today would be ISIL who claim to represent all muslims. Is that what you imagine when you think of wadan islaam ah?

Tbh I do not believe there is such a thing as an Islamic state. You have to differentiate the difference between a Majority Muslim country and an Islamic State that represents all Muslims like the Caliphates. i'm somalilander, & this somaliland section. so if want to discuss current world poltics go to general section or politics. If you want to join Dowlati Islamiiya you should go to Iraq or Syriasheekada tabloid newspaper baad wata. don't ever bring that angle in SL section.

what have i exggerated or when was i being irrational. the title of the thread is asking if a cadaan guy was a muj. simple answer is no.From what I have read in this thread, and seen in the newsclip, I do not seeI hope I am not the only one who feels embarrassed with landers trying to associate everything with idealising the white man.Somalilanders are so cringy ya ilaahi.
anything which can be understood as "puting the cadaan man on a pedestal".
A silly newsreporter called a cadaan man (who is obsessed with soomaalida and
may or may not have played a role in SNM)![]()
Your reaction to this bit melodramatic on your part don't you think?

Exactly you made my point very clear here. This is what I meant about us not being an Islamic State.Tbh I do not believe there is such a thing as an Islamic state.
I would argue that the concept of a state (in the modern post 1648 peace of westphalia sense) is alien to Muslim tradition.
The Khilaafa is not in any way close to the lunatics running around Syria and Ciraaq calling themselves IS.
That being said ...we are not in the past, nor can such a system be brought back (certainly not in our lifetimes).
I suppose the only reason I asked you the question is I take issue with your statement that the Tawheed on our flag is merely
symbolic, I do not believe this is the case and should be the case. And that recognising and acknowledging this, does not mean
we are akin to the lunatics running around the Middle East.
We are Muslims and that means Religion will always play a role in our private lives and the public sphere of our home country.
however which way we rule ourselves, Religion should and inshallah will remain as the guiding principle of our country.
