She told that her mission is to find facts and gather information which she promised to submit a report to the International community that support Somaliland’s democratization process and consequently will make a decision based on the gathered information from the ground.
The officer from the EU told the political parties that she wants to know which side is a real obstacle to the full implementation of the terms of the accord that the opposition groups signed with the government.
Justice & Welfare party informed the officer that the five year term for the president has expired and it calls for the president to put the agreement into operation.
Wadani said that they await the president to act before it too late and fulfill the agreement.
The EU officer has promised that the report she will submit to the European Union will have a major impact on the current political scenario of Somaliland.
The current ruling party Kulmiye has insisted that they did not pull out of the agreement but hopes to meet with the Guurti to amend the term extension in accordance with the agreement reached by the three political parties.
