^ I swear to God, that is what came to my mind seeing how they are handling the dead. These people in the picture obviously have no respect for the dead. What kind of culture is this?

When people turn into clan worship, they have no limits. Somalis are all clan crazy, but these guys up in the north take it to a different level.

We can forgive but we can not forget. Are people like bosnians turned into ethnic warship lool. Man we have lost 50.000 people we have every right to investigate how they were killed when,where and who killed them. Somaliland government established War Crimes Investigation Commission Whose their task is to search for mass graves There ar also indepedent international forensic teams who collects samples from every mass grave. This is helping those who lost family members during the 80s We also need to find clear evidences against war criminals.

Perhaps other Somali clans should follow suit and dig up the dead who were killed in the name of clan. Let us liter the whole horn with the the remains of the unjustly killed Somalis.

There is something disturbing about the picture and the way people are handling the remains of the dead. Subsequent comments contributed only reinforced the absurdity seen in the pictures.

There is no justification for this. If the burial was discovered by accident, the dead should be removed and reburied accordingly without media invite. If this was willful action, it is uglier than anything I have heard of or seen Somalis do period.


Someone suggested this is to match dead victims to the living relatives. Can't help but wonder when did Somalis think like that? being obsessed over their dead?
