If people want genuine improvement then they will have to forgo this Somaliland enterprise and admit the price is too high. Gain international acceptability and with it the commerce that comes with it....

I am HJ and I must say that HJ way isku xaartay, they managed to reanimate the corpse of qabyaalad and its back now on steroids. The level of incompetence and qabyalad they brought forth is unprecedented, Silanyo and Xirsi make Riyale look like José Mujica. HJ should not be given any positions for the next 100 years. Xirsi along with Silanyo and Saleeban Gaal and the rest of the HJ junta should be prosecuted for their crimes against the nation.

Also no offence Skywalker, but you seem to see everything with a green-tinted spectacles. You are always on a defensive when someone mentions Kulmiye or Silanyo. Simply saying corruption existed before and will exist after is not enough. Nobody forced him to become president. If you can't deal with the issue, move aside and let someone else sit on the kursi.

How can you justify a comment like your above comment with; I'm HJ, thats not acceptable. A few random HJ individuals, in a small circle that includes assortment of figures from all Somaliland's tribes has never equated to all of HJ. I can tell you no development has taken place in my region. I travelled from Burco to deep hawd and was left depressed with the lack infrastructure and the bleak future. Those people ( and its the vast majority) should not be guilty by association for Silanyo/Xirsi/Salebaan's adventures. Its even more frustrating when compared to the type of money being pumped into western Somaliland and nobody ever asks questions.

I dont want to hijack the topic but when the people of Somaliland speak of recognition and a country they assume its paradise but a lot of sacrifices will be required. Its like UK austerity cuts but much broader.
Our masses are ignorant and the middle classes spend day and night fanning the flames of tribal division, when they should be educating them about all the positive developments.

Instead of using this tragic child's death to score political and tribal points if you dont like the government, when we have an election date vote them out. Simple as that.

And Yes HJ voted for Kulmiye and allot of HJ support Kulmiye. So what!?? That's the nature of our political system. Most HY will vote wadani and most Cisse Muuse will vote UCID. Does it matter that Kulmiye has done nothing but give HJ grieve while it spends it time and money in the west of Somaliland. Probably not!
My Point is maybe we should be looking at fixing a problem that is embedded in our culture and systems rather than turning to that same desease as solution to every event that happens in Hargeisa by Blaming HJ and Xirsi
