Am not from the Hawd, but I know we control at least 80% of it's area only Dhulus and OG's share the rest.

The reason why habar awal are not included is because they don't live in Hawd, mostly in Jarar.
Besides the land they have in Ethiopia is tiny,the furthest they reach into Ethiopia is 25 miles

But it also shows that Isaaq have the lion share in
Hawd and more wells as well, especially at the borders.
Isn't Hawd a bit overstretched there?

I have actually spent more time in these areas than Somaliland. I was geeljire from 93-95, then lived in Moholin North of Nustrik til end of 1997.

I was at tacsi Saturday night and after wards sheego broke out.
One isaxaaq guy was telling us a story that happened in hawd. Nin dhulbahante ah ayaa something sameeyey. Dabeedna the hy captured him, and took him to this hy judge. Waa la fadhiisyey with his knees and was put on trail.
Anyways its a long story...but the man was convicted.

Aware woreda and Danot woreda Isaaqu wey dagan laakin anigu waxan ka hadlaya saldhiga degmada. In Aware and Danot there are no wells in Isaaq areas so in xagaa they have to move north while Ogaden stay put. The section of hawd inhabited by Isaaq has a very low water table, while other area have ceel riig ah. Reer Cali in Aware truck in water from Ceelka Bulaale and sell it to Isaaq to this day.

Mohlin, Marsin, Nusdariiq and Danood are OG towns. The first three are Reer Dalal and Gaadsan. And Danot is the second town of Mikahil after Shilabo. You can keep dreaming though.
