SL Voter Tendancy--Hero Worship over Meritocracy

Postby KyrieJama » Sat Nov 14, 2015 9:10 pm

Siyaasada SL--"War GXR-kaad sheegisid ma aqaan ee waxaad ii soo dirta Toyota Grande dhaxalaystay. Kaasaa dalka laga yaqaana." :dwill:

Umada SL wali may qaangaadhin garasho ahaan. Tusaale ahaan, Muse Bixi waxa lagu tageera systemka dalka buu aad u yaqaan, laakin waxa loo bahaanyahay qof systemka is bedel ku sameeya."

My point

Leaders should be chosen on 'meritocracy not hero worship'. Its an African problem shared with many countries like South Africa (ANC) and Rwanada (RPF) to name a few. Post conflict societies liberated by a rebel group via a popular revolution share many similarities; the former rebel leaders turned political leader use their struggle and veteran status as a political tool to hold on to power by constantly reminding the society of their horrific past whilst that populace (see Jacob Zuma) lack tangible human and economic development. As if partaking in a civil war is a pre-requisite for political office.

Even self-aware wise men like our very own 'Le Justicier'-- who incessantly complains of bad leadership, slow development and clan politics, choose to support civil war dinosaurs that represent and only know this form of governance, which simply does not add up :?

Why not support the educated class of politicians like Harvard graduates Jamal Ali Hussein and Mohamed Bixi Younis? These gentlemen climbed the ladder and earned high level positions within competitive international agencies/organizations because of their hard-work and leadership; individual successes should also be rewarded IMO.

Beleive you me those dhaqan celis grown ups are the worst, they are karaanis not leaders. All they know is some basic political theories they plagiarised from their host nations. They are the most corrupted ones, their pockets are deeper than you think and They are less nationalistic. The veterans knows all about the country by heart muse does not need to read a foreign manifestos to run this country. Its better to have well experienced leader like like him.

That's because Somalis aren't democrats. Democracy and Somalis don't mix. Somalis will always vote for their Tribal elders and the traditional form of governing has always been a Kritarchy - rule of Guurti/elders.

I beleived europe has better democracy but i realised they vote for their own local MPs only . Then the party with most mps gets the prime minister. Its impossible that you can get votes in london if you are from manchester. In somaliland all regions get the same opportunity to directly vote for their national leader, Our Mps do not get involved the presidential election process. muuse will have to go every corner of the country to get votes. David cameron never went outside his home town to convince every region. He can not even go to labour strong holds while kulmiye can rally inside ucid or wadani stronghols.

Garad13 seems to forget or had deliberately ignored that colonel muse bihi has just been elected by the kulmiye party members for their S/Land presidential candidate and he won't be the leader of JSL until the public vote him into office in March 2017.

I renounced my Somali citizenship and i am going to campaign for whichever candidate promises to bring Ictiraaf.

Don't let Somalis, Wanlaweyns and Faqash derail this.

Just like Scotland, Catalonia and many others are fighting for independence, we too are fighting for independence from the evil Somali wanlaweyns.

No more Bullying and no more being treated as a 2nd class citizens by Wanlaweyns from Koonfur.

Independence Now. Ictiraaf Now. :sland:

Yeah I guess using Paul Kgame as an example was not warranted, he is a great modern day African Leader.
