Dawga cad is not a tourist road.... There are no roads being built for tourist puposes, we are not bloody Europe.

Dawga Cad connects Hargeysa with Xeebta and onwards to Djibouti.

As for the topic, SL development should be spread out East as much as possible.
Burco airport should be built to service the East. We alrady have 2 functioning descent airports in the West namely Hargeysa and Berbera.
We also have the second busiest somali port ( first being Djibouti) in the form of Berbera, which is connstantly expanding.

The Burco Ceerigaabo road Is probably the best project SL has ever embarked on. We should follow it up with the Burco Hargeysa road in order to link the 2 heartland cities of SL directly with each other

TheYuusuf, in reply to your post I would argue the SL "silk road" is not limited to Wajaale-Berbera.

It is more Wajaale to Ceerigaabo, with a split in Hargeysa, 1 path towords Burco the other towards Berbera, and then onwards to Sheekh and then Burco. The "road" then continues onwards to Sanaag via Garadag and Ceel Afweyn.

I'm actually amazed by what my community managed, building a road, and it doesnt suck that much either, same diameter as berbera.
Suddenly every reer is building roads.

how is the dawga cad going so far, I can't locate it on google earth, I think its very daunting road SM is building,

There are 3 phases.

Phase 1 was blasting through the mountains in order to create a proper mountain pass,
from the high plateux to the low coastal region. Phase 1 has been completed and the
pass now has a proper road over it with drainage included.

Phase 2 is building a 30km stretch of road from Hargeysa to the mountain pass. We are currently collecting funds for phase 2, and it should be started soon.

Phase 3 is from the mountain pass to Ceel Sheekh which is on the coast.

Skywalker

the real Somaliland CORE is that silk road from berbera-hargeisa-gebiley-wajale. every penny should be invested in that area to get quick profit. The rest is sadaqo jaariya. Even if you become our leader tommoraw you would have invested that area more than any where else in Somaliland.

We need one big port in berbera. one major airport in hargeisa , Corridor to wajaale and intensive farming projects around gebiley to feed the huge population of hargeisa. simple somaliland oo dhan way dheregtay markaas.
Faysal Ali Waraabe and Ali Gurey will be more than happy to welcome you in their party.

I knew this road was gonna be difficult, it's definately on another scale than Salahley, not just in length, but work to do.
What mountains, is this deep into JB country or more geedeble, area.

No idea sxb, I hope it materializes though. It will be very beneficial for the people living in Hawd where they can bring their goods to Hargeisa and ultimately the port of Berbera

Timacade said "dugsi maleh qabyaaladi waxay dumiso mooyaane" we proved him wrong in fact qabyaalad can be used for development projects.

It might have played a factor, I do not know.

However I think it is just easier to get to Ceel Sheekh, it it also good were
the road extended to Djibouti, which is the ultimare goal I believe.

Meth ...got ya

that is annoying, even two you are family, reer saaxil is very unproductive and hampering berbera.
I think it's nonsense they claim Bulaxaar which is now part of Gabiley region from what I heard.

But it's good work is on, but how does it work out, Hargeisa - HoroHadley, can you draw it up

I dont have the means to draw up a map, as I am currently posting from a mobile device.
I will try later.

Gabiley district xeeb ma leh, neither does Hargeysa district.
Saaxil was created from Berbera and Sheekh districts, Berbera
encompassed all of the old Waqooyi Galbeed's coastal region,

It is therefore only fair Saaxil inherits Bulaxaar
