Saaxiib, Salafism/Wahhabism is nothing but an uncompromising, anti-intellectual, literalist and myopic interpretation of Islam. It makes no use of context, nuance and sharia sanctioned flexibility. It is culturally imperialist in nature, as it stamps out local forms of Islamic practice, art, dress and mannerisms. It's also antithetical to modernity, retarding economic growth and promoting a rigid and simplistic political worldview.Salafi school has the best and most accurate teachingNot sure if ur being sarcastic.Salafia is the way forward. Imam Ibn Abdul Wahhab, was one of the best teacher of At-Tawhiid. All he was teaching was Tawhiid, the oneness of Allah. For those of you who are not familiar with Tawhiid, the prophet Mahammed PBUH spent the majority of his life spending At-Tawhiid.The sad truth for Sunnis is that there is very little difference between orthodox Sunni Islam and modern Salafi Islam. The disagreements are quite small, none of them being fundamental core central beliefs; the type which would cause a major rift. The reality is both have been directly influenced and almost shaped by the works of Ibn Taymiyyah who destroyed the more lax and liberal Ash'ari' school of thought. Ash'aris themselves historically became popular after they destroyed the even more liberal Mu'tazilas. The path towards fundamentalism and literalism wasn't started by Mohammad Ibn Abd-al-Wahhab; It started long before that.
