The story started few days ago when Sheekh Carab ( a known Caleem in Hargeisa and have a lot of lectures ) showed up on a TV complaining about an incident that involved the use of live bullets by his neighbors as it shows on this video:

I thought the Police will wrap up this case easily,and calm the public about the shoot out,but as usual our Police force have zero knowledge and practise when it comes to public affair communication,instead they made a furious shir jaraid attacking the sheekh and defending themselves that apprehended all people involved in the incident.

few hours later Sheekh Carab shows up on TV again fighting his tears,and accusing the police of retaliation against him and his family and that they took in custody 2 of his daughters ( 11 years and another one with a 20 days baby new born).

I know our Police personnel are among the lowest on the GOV payroll,and there are a lot of successful cases they managed to deal with it professionally,however I noticed the gab between the police and the people is widening and any simple confrontation ,people go to the media instead of dealing with the police..!!.

I believe SLND police need a well known public figure to be a liaison officer and can absorb the public out cry with courtesy and wisdom.

Dumb. Don't mess with Culimada. These police lack proper training. They are still practicing heavy handedness of Kacaan era. Shame on them

Lool thought he was an Arab all along as I was reading this, I was immediately siding with my African Somaliland police brothers not caring about who was right or wrong, then listened to the vid and found out he was a Somali.

That neighborhood is Arab clan area. I believe sheekha himself hails from beesha Arab.

So was anyone killed or injured by the person who fired the gun?
