Bollore Logistics delegation arrives over Berbera Port

Postby AwRastaale » Mon Feb 15, 2016 4:50 pm

They are still chasing Berbera.

The large delegation is led by Rémi Maréchaux, French Ambassador to Kenya. He said the French are keen on developing Berbera corridor, assist with healthcare, invest in banking and would assist with the ongoing drought.

He said he was impressed with SL progress for instance since his last visit a lot of construction went up in Hargeisa.

Do you know anything about Bollore ? ^ or just because you african american and you prefer not the arabs to get the contract ?

There is a competition between Bollore and DP world ports . Georges Bush knowing full well that it would not work but since they bought American weappons , gave DP world a chance to run for bid in the US . They were humiliated . I like France but they didn't dig wells for Somaliland , one of the sheiks of the UAE did send equipment for that , for free .

Bollore is better option for SL's independence.

The Arabs come with too much baggage that go against SL values.

The Arabs meddle in the region's affairs and since paper country Somalia is an Arab League member, they will be biased and would use the port to grab our balls.

The French are fokers and don't have good reputation in Africa but when we weight our options, they are better option.

Aqoonsi ma aminsani. If you followed things you would know my motto: Aqoon before aqoonsi.

Ilahay uun ba ku aqoonsada ee adiga waxa laga raba self-believe.

Also you should know I'm into the classical creation of nations that you put it together, that you nrture, that you serve, protect and expand even if that means wiping half of the opponents.

French firm has no reason to obey Mogadishu but Arabs have many reasons to keep Somali slaves who would further their interest in the name of faith, Arab League, Egypt is calling, you are sons of Quresh, bla bla.

Sahan I recommend that you stick to women topics.

If building a well or having the same religion is enough to win us over then God help us all. The Arabs cannot be trusted because they still want to keep the former Somali Republic in tact and they can use this against us while the french couldn't care less and is more occupied with making money.

Sahan,

You are not retarded but yet you lack some intelligence.

French are no good news but I prefer them over Arabs.

If Yemen wants to remain Shia-free, do you think it's wise for them to hand their ports to Iran?

That's the case here. French give no fcuk about Arab games in the region including Ethiopia or some paper country once called Somalia.

They want business and our people need jobs and cashflow.

And yes I proudly represent miyi and Haud while you insisted the land of your forefathers, Arabsiyo, was Oromo land.

Lancer .

Aw Rastaale's initial post

My point , that's not something the UAE mentions in a business deal because they do it anyway . Back in 2008
The equipment includes water drilling rigs which are designed to drill wells to alleviate the water shortage caused by the recent drought in the country.

in 2015
UAE-funded water wells to serve 250,000 people in Somalia

I am not gonna address the rest of your post for it is only a sign of your collective tribal myopic degeneration  These arabs are made of tribes just like us . They know we all lived together once and they believe we call all live together again like them . I can't hate that !

My preferences

1. Time and tender : we need a quick construction project and very short management contract. a minimum lease.

2.Terminal: We need a massive Port facility capable to handle between 1 million to 2 million containers.

3. Traffic: after the port expansion, We need a company that have good connection with our Ethiopian trade partners, a company that's willing to work with us to implement Ethiopia Somaliland Corridor, railways and other potential things such as oil and gas pipelines, from Ethiopia/south Sudan.

We have nothing to loose if we turn down DP , ballore or both. because we don't export any thing to those countries. I hope Saudis have nothing to do with DP, those big bellies won't hesitate to ban our livestock if we phuk with them. Saudi is the only country that can Scare Somaliland authority.

DP already threw Djibouti in the deep end when they refused to be part of their anti-Shia movement. I am not sure lately how things are between Djibouti, UAE and KSA.

I believe the Ethiopians prefer working with the French too after all the first railway was laid by the French.

It seems like Bollore will get this one. Furthermore, it has the backing of the EU, who is to be the main financier of the corridor outside tender winner. So really Bollore kills one stone with two birds; wins port and wins funding from EU, who already promised to fund it. I believe they never released the funds due to lack of reliable partner.

Also in the country is a delegation from The African Development Bank's infrastructure section. It is said they will too fund SL roads so maybe the corridor will be part of it too.

Sahan is not known to advocate for Somaliland's interest. The man tried to sell Arabsiyo to cannibalist man. He doesn't care if Mogadishu overran Hargeisa. He rather live like a French trained bakele in the oven Djibouti.

Aniga iyo isagaba outside SL ba ka so kala jedna lakin I know that Somaliland is Titanic and Haud is a small boat. My first interest is to ensure Titanic-land doesn't hit an iceberg then I can holiday in my boat.

Equally, I don't want the boat to be opened into the Titanic just in case one of them sinks. Then at least you have something that will float separately that you can use later to get to a dry land.

Lakin isagu weli tas mu fahmin...waxa dhama Jalaaludin.
