No its not, and those bandits who tried to sabotage the voter registration in hadayto should be punished.
I agree with these elders in the below video,
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jwrXg_RI-0w
Those bandits doesn't speak for Sacad Musa in general, nor their actions represent all of Sacad Musa.
I know those outlaw group might have a cause but certainly taking law by your arm and stealing a public properties ( the voter registration equipment) is nothing but an act of outlaws bandits.
now the real problem is the delayed matter of finalizing an official Somaliland region borders, so each region know which districts, towns and tuulo ..etc belong to it.
the national electoral commission have decided to put all degaans east of lughay under saylac ( salal now) not hargeisa district or marodi jeex region.
I think the issue of marking the SLND region borders should have been handled before starting the voter registration.
if I am not mistaken, I remember reer Awdal were asking to restore the British administration borders of 1960 ,if that is true ,then the case of lughaya and its degaans should be easily solved, according to the British protectorate districts:
- Longitude Line 44 East divides the Districts of Hargeisa and Zaila at about 2 kilos to the east of Lughaya. Accordingly, Lughaya is part of present day Lughaya District; whereas any territory to the east of Lughaya belongs to the present day Hargeisa District.
anyhow, there was no need to use arms against civic employees and halt the voter registration just to make a point.
