I got these images and info from a local freelance journalist and family in Sool.

I haven't received information from the other deegaans as of yet; but I know Awdal relief efforts are on-going.

The situation is bad especially in Baligubadle, Salaaxlay and Western Hargeisa.

Those that live around the city are fortunate, because most families that lost their livestock moved in with family inside Hargeisa.

Those affected in remote coastal have it the worst, because they lost their livestock and cannot carry their belongings to move elsewhere so trucks have must be sent. They are stranded bc they do not want to leave their stuff behind.

My thought was excactly this and also that northern marodi jex (coastal range) was the most in need because of zero infrastructure.
I have the perception that a road from hargeisa to ceelsheikh would have helped alot, what is your thought on this

Togdheer has not been hit hard.
It's the Far East sool/sanaag and the far west Awdal that has been affected the most.
Inshaalah the rain would come soon. Waa xili gugii.
