Trip to the eastern most territory of Waqdariya and Geel Wayta

Postby JSLHistorian » Sat Jun 11, 2016 7:53 am

I like Abdulkader Kabaweyne's youtube videos. He usually goes to remote eastern H-Y coastal areas from the western most (Ras Jilbo) west
of Maydh to the eastern most (Waqdariya and Geel Wayta)

Waqdariya & Geel Wayta (eastern most) a stone away from Las Qoray

Ras Jilbo (western most)

What's the highest peak in sanaag is it sheba or shimbiris? In the past they use to say it was mount shimbiris but now days everyone says mount sheba has a higher peak. https://youtu.be/C7K_tzWFuXU

As you can clearly see on the map HY do live more east than Waqdariya. Geel wayta is HY most eastern most settlement.

It can't be because it reaches the sea and intrudes into laas qori district, I think its a tribal line.
