Maamuus hotel, New Hargeisa

A new hotel owned by the late MC Suldaan Maxamed Xasan Ibraahim AUN. It is now managed by his brother.

Constructed by the one and only one-------Daryeel.

Daryeel sent me some photos when they just finished the main part of the hotel and I clearly remember there was huge tree in front of the main entry. It looks like they cut down the tree and put that garden there and the tiles.

Daryeel is the best construction company in Somaliland, none comes close to it.

Last year i was in hargeisa around june/july. The day the guy who owned this hotel died, i was at the daryeel office waiting for someone at the lobby area. Some qurba joog guy was sitting next to me on the phone saying that hebel hebel died. It didnt make any sense to me.
Half an hour i was outside, going home (which is very close to this hotel), the whole street was fully of cars, everyone was driving to new hargeisa and to the burta. It still didnt click. Anyways i got home and i overhead a great man from the neighborhood passed away. The whole xaafada if not most of hargeisa way isku soo baxeen for his funeral.

Very underwhelming. Daryeel needs new designs. The interior and the garden is good just the exterior needs to be little more unique

I have notice somalida are into shiny buildings I don't like everything to look like big trophy the interior design is far better I guess that's the beauty of inside.

The hotel looks nice, the food is not (cold and late). As far as I know, the nephew runs the hotel now.
I don't know if I would give the food another chance, 3 times. 1st was alright, second and third was disappointing.

The building is well built, the layout is beautiful at night, the inside is nice. The hotel side of it is well done and I give it my props. If the waiters are better trained and the food is kicked up a notch then I would be regular there.

It was this guy. He was the Suldaan of Muuse Cabdalle and also one of the biggest shareholders of Telesom company.

I hate to say it but daryeel designs are butt ugly bathroom tiles buildings, they needs to be stopped, they are behind every major building in Hargeisa and Burco, and with exception of Ambassador, they all suck in design, everything from Ina Afdinles crazy mansion to Dahasbhiil buillding to now this new bathroom building its just butt ugly. PLEASE learn a bit or two in design from the world.

Safari looks way better looks more like casino hotel though here is casino in falls newyork that looks like it.

That's even worst a orange building with teal windows now that's mega eyesore the use of excessive colors should be banned period.
