I would like to start by saying nothing respect to Haji abdi warabe as he is an elder. I don't understand what the big deal is if Garxajis politicians call for a meeting of their kin to unite them for political purposes. Atlest it's in the open. The only group that would not like this idea would maybe be the kulmiye chairman and his supporters for his 2017 presidency.

Because clan conferences are counter productive to the land of Somaliland and to the fabric of Somaliland we know that the Somaliland parties are based on sub clans but why do we have to say it out loud. we need to move away from that some how.. i would oppose any clan shir of a sub clan of isaaq for political reasons, the only thing i would be open for is an all out open isaaq conference on how we can tackle our main problems with in Somaliland and beyond Somaliland.

Are we going to ignore the Garadag Shir held by HJ to support kulmiye. It's not the craziest thing to happen as its happened before.I think it's only being made a big deal because it's Garxajis doing so. Certin people do not want to see Garxajis clan united politically.

I understand the point you are trying to raise but clearly we are not there yet. It's not ilegal to hold a meeting.
