I dont think the deal is bad qat miira used to come to Europe are u telling us reer Yurub somalida ku nool oo dhan waxba ma wasan oo guski wu ka dhintay. I doubt it Somaliland needs recognition and if the kenyans want to export their qaad in exchange for recognition i dont think that is bad Ethiopia already exports its qaad to SL and Ethiopia does not recognize SL why not switch to Kenya. Kenya and Ethiopia wey ino simanyihin Kenya recognizes Somaliland passport ethiopia recognizes Somaliland passport we have a diplomatic mission in Kenya nairobi and one in addis ababa ethiopia. So the to are equal to us but if the kenyans are willing to an extra mile in our friendship i say lets go for it we know qaad is bad it ruined Somalilanders but they will chew it i dont see an altarnative other than beering it our selves but i dont see that happening any time soon. in the mean time we can use kenyas recognition to strengthen our case. By the way warsheekh and advo are against Somaliland recognition so we cant take their advise and crocodile tears to serious if it was up to them we are part of Somalia and they do not respect our wishes.

:mindblown:

Khalid,

Ofcourse I am Somaliweeynist, I never hid my political views. lakinse even ur fellow landers see the error in ur logic. You cannot sell poison to ur people for "some" recognition. The Miru farmers will flood Somaliland market with khat for generations, since their whole economy is based on that single commodity.

If u are really after recognition and those Kenyans are cash strapped, how about paying them directly to achieve ur goals? That's just one alternative lane to many.

Qat will always come to Somaliland whether from ethiopia or from kenya if the qat from Kenya ictraaf lugu helo why not the SL government is actually consdering it because it will lead to a strong diplomatic ties with Kenya we can ditch the ethiopian qaad. and go with the kenyan people in Hargeysa prefer the miira qaad any ways, qaad is bad i know this but Reer SL wil chew this why not bring qaad ictraaf lugu helayo >?

the walanweyns are already crying the so called govt of xamar when they heard the news he said kenya can trade with Somaliland but cannot give it recognition he doesnt care if we import heroine or weed or qaad as long as Kenya and Somaliland dont grow stronger together and kenya recognizes Somaliland.

^ More like create entire towns/cities. $1 million alone will build you 50 bungalows from daryeel construction each costing
$20,000.

Actually, it's closer to $500 million, but yes half a billion dollars goes to Ethiopia and Kenya every year from our pockets to pay for a poisonous leaf. Half a billion!!! In a country with little to no infrastructure, health service or industry.
