No Somalis do not speak Amharic so they need these people for communication with other Ethiopians.

you have to understand that these Garam garam are long lost Somalis and have been Oromized centuries ago and they speak Oromo as their first language. We can never be like them since we don't speak Amhara as our first language or like to speak Amhara.
