SuldaanOfSanaag The best looking hotel in New Hargeisa (Maamuus hotel) is owned by Muuse Cabdalle. Generally it is those
reer galbeed HY groups that are building expensive hotels in the area. SY wa reer Burco mainly (that is where we build big
hotels). Sure we are land owners and home owners here as well but not as much as Soukhal Galbeed. From what I have
seen here about the SY in Hargeisa they don't confine themselves in one area, a lot of them live in airport (Masalaha),
Maxamed Mooge and Axmed Dhagax . Were's in Burco it is the opposite they only stick to galbeed.

SuldaanOfSanaag That is good. Hargeisa and Mogadishu are good investments is where the money is at. Money makes money at the
end of the day, we can divert that money later into our ancestral lands. One good example is Cabdalle Boos (A SY millionaire in
Mogadishu) he and his brother (Maxamuud Boos) built a fish processing factory in Xarshaw, Sanaag.

Horta how come there is not one Isaaq city that's inhabited by only a single sub-clan? Unlike us Darods you Idoors stick together and inhabit multi sub-clan cities, which is always an advantage.

Darood cities are mainly towns/villages. New Hargeisa alone is 10x larger than Las Anod. Now that is the true definition of
landheerniimo. New Hargeisa is even larger than the "biggest" Darood city in Somalia which I believe is Bosaso.

- The thing is Darods have a huge population and inhabit a large territory, but they're dispersed, were Isaaqs occupy a small land which makes their land seem densely populated and it's also why they all live in the same cities.

- New Hargeisa might be majority HY, but it aint exclusively HY + Plus Las Anod is substantially bigger than New Hargeisa hadan been la isu sheegayn.

- I think the biggest settlement with only 1 Isaaq sub-clan is Odweyne and that place is a village.

Sharmarke91 You are delusional. The facts are the entire Darood tribe doesn't have a city the size of Hargeisa. Bosaso, Jigjiga
iyo waxas are not larger than Burco. Never-mind Las Anod village, it doesn't even register in the radar.


At the end of the day..... Isaaq has Hargeisa, Hawiye has Mogadishu. What does Darood have? a couple of villages.
