We need to better regulate our parties

isnt it high time we made a bigger effort to make our political parties more professional, democratic and ideologically/philosophically distinct and at the same time they all have a national character instead of a tribal/district character

the election commission should have the power to shut down any xisbi that is undemocratic, sectarian/clannish or lacking a different ideology to its rivals

The only thing that matters for the commission is diversity, parties must have different people from different clans and Regions in their ranks . Parties that can't generate votes from all regions can't survive longer than 10 years.

Look America or UK their political parties are actually based on color , tribes, income etc. Ask yourself why immigrants vote for the Labour. Why blacks vote for the Democrats. In Somaliland the only differences we have is clans. Our parties have the same goals but each party have its strongholds and spearheaders. Nothing wrong with that.

I don't believe in so called African democracy and the tribal politics---even if you can call that politics.

What SL is doing isn't indigenous nor authentic. They think by mimicking the British man, they will win favors with him and get little nacnac.

It's waste of time, resources and more importantly divisive.

I support some kind of totalitarian rule. All these fake rallies, registrations of minors, habro and transporting 'all reer hebel to x village' need to come to an end.

There must be a better system for nomads with zero education.
