On one hand I am not opposed to a base provided the right terms are offered in return, but notice how he is setting up the parameters of what they'll do. They will not present the actual agreement to parliament, they will pull a similar move to the port fiasco by presenting an abridged version of the agreement.

If they have the numbers to prove the deal will be good for Somaliland they should present them to parliament.

The UAE forces will be stationed in the coast in small base , how that threatens Somaliland that doesn't even use 99% of its coast? also much of the army in that base would be pilot not infantry , so its just ridiculous it tells you how these opposition parties and their qaad chewing clan chiefs are out of touch with reality in the world.
