Is this your way of finally joining your fellow countrymen's quest in obtaining the illusive ictiraafSeems like SL is finally becoming relevant in world affairs, after being irrelevant for 30 years.

Somaliland doesn't deserve ictiraaf yet, until it's political elite starts being serious. They're not ready to play in the big boy league of recognised countries because they can't act as statesmen who put their countries interests before their own.Is this your way of finally joining your fellow countrymen's quest in obtaining the illusive ictiraafSeems like SL is finally becoming relevant in world affairs, after being irrelevant for 30 years.![]()
xplaya what do you think are the consequences of this deal good or bad ?Kuwii hanjabbayey hada ha ooyaan.
It's immoral but it has to be done. The Hauthi are like the Isaaq in Somali politics they have been marginalized for decades , they are fighting for their right.xplaya what do you think are the consequences of this deal good or bad ?Kuwii hanjabbayey hada ha ooyaan.

Unfortunate though it may be, this is how the world works. Most countries benefit from war in other countries. Look at Ethiopia, Djibouti, Kenya, Uganda, Sierra Leone, Burundi. They have made an absolute loot from Somalia's conflict. They have got salaries for their military, weapons, aircraft, training etc. as well as leverage in their dealings with other countries. Ethiopia has even dammed the rivers that flow into Somalia. Whilst Kenya is selling Somalia's trees as charcoal, as well as its territorial waters. Waa bilaa naxariis. It's immoral but it has to be done. Foreign policy and long term treaties are the purview of the federal government. It is more important now because the nature of the two is still unresolved.loool and say what exactly?
