Mogadishu's corrupt trusteeship government, protected by AMISOM and Ethiopian troops, has said they oppose the deal.

It is possible that General Gabre and AMISOM soldiers have instructed them to oppose the deal. Ironically they do not oppose the Turkish or AMISOM military bases in Mogadishu.
