SL to cut ribbons for major projects

The President has received a hero's welcome in Sahil where he will cut ribbons to completed projects while he will lay the stones for the major ones; Berbera port, new airport, marine base, the Berbera-Wajale corridor.

These projects are worth close to $2.5 billion

After that he will inaugurate the Humboweyne dam.

UAE delegations to take part.

This is happening today.

All projects to be completed within 3 years.

The popularity of Mr Silanyo is at all time high. What a legendary veteran!!

Somalis need to learn from Silanyo lesdership. #1 he always gets everyone involved. He built strong team and let's them do their jobs without micro-managing them. He forms committees to get more out off people and he often takes the back seat, he handles things with calm, he even gets opposition involved like they part of the Gov.

Somalis have too many lone wolves who think without consulting anyone or giving others room they know best.

Silanyonis the opposite and over the years I have learned how he does things is actually productive.

I was critical of him when he came to power especially when Hirsi was all over the place.

However, I have since understood both men.

My concern was Silanyo may leave without a legacy but tonight I am happy that his legacy will be these huge projects that will truly put SL on the map.

I am pleased.

The Ras

Masha Allah Predident Silaanyo is indeed a legend that deserves our respect. He has had few shirt comings but these latest developments put him over the top. He is also a very humble and peaceful person.
