Somaliland waxay hor.dhigtay Diyaarada Turkish hadday doonayso, inay duulimaad ka bilawda Hargeisa Somaliland, inuu duulimaadkaasi noqdo mid toos ah.

Taasoo macnaheedu tahay in Hargeisa ka tagtaa Muqdisho sii mari karin, Ta Muqdisho ka timaadaana Hargeisa soo mari karin.

Finally Somaliland waxay baranaysaa sida ciyaar dhaba loo ciyaaro.

Yo Turkish if you want to operate in Somaliland, 'direct flight' is a must.

To be honest Turkey is not that important for us right now. Not only are they swimming in their own sea of chaos but how many of us do direct business with Turkey compared to UAE?

Very few.

Most of our transits are in the UAE and most of our imports are from there while almost all of our exports (livestock) go to Arabia including UAE.

Turkey can be used to keep the Arabs on their toes but they are not favorable to us and our business, political and aspirations.

It would be good if they can build a new massive airport, help with the water and roads infrastructures but the UAE/Kuwait is more favorable. Another area they maybe needed is with the restoration of Berbera's old Ottoman buildings. Those would add value to the city and may even bring in tourists.

If anything the Turkish deal only sends Mogadishu a signal but we have little to gain from unless they can help with infrastructures.

Not big on my plate.

SL already rejected the Turks twice; refused to close Nile Academy and told them to kick back before any flights we going to study the impact it will have on our constumers (FlyDubai, Ethiopian, and possibly Al Arabia Airlines).

techincally it wouldn't be an"direct" flight because you will always have to stop at Istanbul and wait crazy amount of hrs for your connecting flight..

Sl has more pressing matters than a "direct" flight that only quurbojoog will use for 3 months out of the year

Sl needs to sort out its priorities

Direct? Obviously it will be direct from Turkey.

The turks are xasidiin to reer somaliland, even though we retain and were part of the Ottoman empire, they chose xamar over us

They need to step up their game, especially their president, if he wants to be more influential he should sponsor more projects, such as roads, education, historical protection/restoration
