Those villas with the really high stone walls were beautiful. The homes were great too, but they were all so different in architecture. The streetscape was very odd in that upmarket suburb.

Overall it is very nice though.

How big is the population if Sheikh btw? Please give me a realistic answer. I remember driving past it two years ago when I was headed to Hargeisa so I will know if you are bs'ing me kkk.

Judging from last few election results my guess is that the population is around 5,000 to 8,000.

The atmosphere and environment is almost the same between Lavasan and Sheikh, both located in a mountainous range with very pleasant climate. Easily Sheikh can become the next sought after destination for wealthy Somalis around the world.

Definitely. The mountain area was very green even though it was the drier part of the year. I wonder what the place looks like after good rainfall.

I would move the somaliland capital to sheikh town.

It says on wiki shiikh population
The town of Sheikh has a population of around 35,657 residents.[2] The broader Sheikh District has a total population of 133,625 residents.[3]

Sheikh town & district is mainly inhabited by people from the Somali ethnic group, with Isse Muuse sub-clan of Habr Awal well-represented.
