Thanks Suldaan!
If the papers are reporting it - I am assuming the NEC released the results by district?

They've been public knowledge for sometime - But they still should have released the district results earlier.
Something else they did wrong.

This is interesting indeed.

It seems Arab were not as unanimous as initially thought

I thought the Kulmiye vote among Ciidagale was significant - Apparently not. Split between UCID and Waddani instead.

Awdal is expected - Kulmiye dominated the coast (Maxamed Case) and surprisingly got 40% in Boorama (Habar Cafaan)

Togdheer as I expected - Burco I was a bit surprised by, did not think Kulmiye would dominated it.

Did not expect such such a high vote for Waddani in Caynaba of all places - I wonder if this is the beginning of something new?
It also begs the question how many Axmed Faaraxs Xirsi was able to convince to vote Waddani in Burco.

I hope they will also release the results down to the polling station - Seeing as people could only vote in the polling station they registered themselves in.

Yeah Abdikarim, it seems all the non-HY Wadani allies were split with other parties. Kulmiye winning Baligubadle was a surprise, but Wadani got more votes than I expected in Salaxley. UCID got less than 50% of the vote there, and lost in Maxamuud Haybe :pacspit:

Gacan Libaax though :lupe:

I’m surprised that Wadani won Las Anod. Dhulos were much better represented in Kulmiye and they had a VP candidate in UCID. I guess the qurjiiles truly believed Cirro would bring SL to Farmaajo

That would be long and tedious, but it would show transparency

What the results show, if they can be believed, is that the appeal of Wadani is far more widespread than Kulmiye.
Wadani won Sool, Sanaag, Togdheer and Awdal. Kulmiye votes are concentrated in and around Hargeisa. :)

Gacan Libaax I can explain - Contrary to what our HY cousins claim, it is not a unanimously HY district.

Gacan Libaax includes: Cabaaye (A Mikaahiil/Sacad Muuse neighbourhood), Half of 150ka (Nuux Ismaaciil and Ciise Muuse), Sheekh Madar and Laba Nuux (Ciise Muuse/Sacad Muuse mix), Daami (Gabooye), Sheekh Nuur (Poor families from all clans), Sheekh Mubaarik (Poor SM families)

The key is in the margins. The provinces Wadani won, Kulmiye was close behind. Kulmiye got twice as many votes than Wadani in Maroodi Jeex and Saaxil.

Very interesting results indeed.

It is clear now that HY did not have as much support from their allies as they initially claimed. They desperately needed Gadabursi support but they only managed around ~50%.

It is unfortunate the Ciidagale fell again for the fake tears of Garaxjisnimo (only applicable when HY candidate is running) and did not push Sultan Faysal more.

The qurjiile, as double-dealing as ever, voted for Wadani despite Kulmiye's generosity and UCID's VP post.

Same thing happened in 2012. Xaqsoor hedged their bets by giving them the VP post, and performed terribly in Sool.

Very unreliable voting block.

Absolutely, Faysal made a mistake by giving them the VP post. I hope other leaders do not make the same mistake. They have neither the numbers nor the reliability needed for elections.

looking at the numbers, we can see who is the party of the future. the good things about wadani is it will succes as it has looking at this numbers, the biggest majority of the regions o this country support wadani.

in the next 5 years, more people will register. muse will proberly run for relection and that will maybe make a split in kulmiye party.

we can also see that our brothers from sool are started to register more in every election .

in hargiesa and gabiley a joke , ether every sacadmuse(eth, jbu) have moved to gabiley or there is somethng wrong there. the fact that gabiley has bigger voting then the gx plus hj plus dhu wars in both sool and sanaag. can not be right. obviously we can see here that the drought ha a big impact on the eastern regions. but also ciyal ciroole , iyo dadki dhimbey iney votey garey gabiley.

muse dalkan habku u maamulan arki doona. dowlad cidan inta badan somali wey ku adtey iney ogaldaan. laakin he is new we shall se.

also the openning of the new party might change. some qabils in hj , samaroon other make open their own xisbi.

siyadadu waliged wey isbadash.
looking athe xisibgi udub shows power is only temporary.
dont get too comfortable ciyaal 26 june .

mid kle cidanka nogu faaney jirtey maanta ogaadey ninka mamula rru uu hyae libaax yonis walig uu haye adeer kobaad. waa ninki jooji marki burco dagal ka qarxi gaadhey,
shekadan meel fcn bey ino socota . anig dalkaga ma u burubriey xukum jacel. illahy ba og cida dorasadan badisey, anig wan ognhye. thats enough,
on selcto iyo mamaulda hargiesa, si fcn baan ula socona wax wado iyo siku dirka ummad walalho ah.
marku ka dago oo ah maalin dhow mar cirku tagi , waa in la sugayo . wa ninka gacantisa gaadheysi gabdh ah oo waliba ah walasha oah csmusa. anig garaxjis . anig snm garaxjis ma ogol in qof somaliander oo gabdh ah walashy ah gacanta ninka qalaad u gaadh . hagu mari doona iska oog solteco.

ps, imika shirara baa jira, bellaha garaxjis weyn arab cidagle,hy
baa talo iyo hagey dariqa beellaha walalah danoha ka hadlyaan.
kadib wadashiga baa ka hadli doon dalkan somaliland waxa u tallo ah
we are the shadow gov. ciro wuu jooga xisibga uu jooga. maanta manlin ka fcn ma jirto waayo xisibga iyo REr garaxjisarab oo mid ah ba jira first time since 1980s. kadib watashai bellaha walalah beyino thy .
end.

At least 15-20% of HJ voted Waddani in Burco. The 2010 election, Kulmiye won 73% of the Vote In Burco.

It would be great if we can see the results and how the voted in every Polling stations.
