This all look similar, they all have green on top and red on the bottom. Ethiopia, Somalia, Djibouti and Eritrea have distinct flags, however Somali region and Somaliland look very similar to the Ethiopian flag.

I am not talking about originality but how different Somalia, Ethiopia, Eritrea and Djibouti flags look, whereas SL looks like the Ethiopian flag, heck is this Ethiopia project only meant to subjugate Somalis because even the Amhara and Tigrey regions have distinct flags from Ethiopia, where is Somali region, Somaliland look very similar to Ethiopia.

Ethiopia doesn't have ownership of these colours and if anyone can be Ethiopia's colony based on flag colours it would be half of Africa and Jamaica.

Somalia's flag is the one that is based on an organisation that once ruled the land because its colonial master was chased away by the British.

So why not come up with a unique flag instead of honoring your colonial Trusteeship?
