They obviously from japan climate zone but they need allot of sun , also they need deep fertile soil , they key is allot of sun not scorching sun , but Ceerigaabo, Sheekh , hargaysa and Burco type of sun albeit with good deep fertile soil. Both Ceerigaabo and Sheekh and any zone close to the highlands are perfect. Of all these Somaliland towns only Berbera is impossible but in Israel these tress are in Tel Aviv , don't know how the coastal hot climate affects them but all they need is partial shade for most of the day.
Some may think is too luxurious to have these trees in an African climate , but each city can create a decent size public park somewhere in the city and maintain these trees , its not that expensive at all , 100 of these of combinations of different trees. For the soil simple compost can be easily be made. Most of these trees can readily be bought 3 years of age and already flowering.
