Berbera Port & Military Base - Great Progress

Walahi Somaliland is doing big things recently. Now FINALLY the Berbera port development is well underway. God is great and continues to bless Somaliland. Alhamdulilah.

Berbera is now double the size of Mogadishu port. The port is being expanded onto reclaimed land. Here is the before



Here is the work in progress. The port will be trebled in capacity to the south west ("Free Zone" area) and the south east (made up of 5 areas of reclaimed land).

All available land is being reclaimed.



The trebled port size is quickly taking shape. The old port is at the bottom, the new port areas are at the top.



Lastly the UAE military base is also under construction. It is 10KM West of Berbera.

qurjiiile is land locked they have no ports wasakhgalis are the only one with a port but wasakhgali is broke and have no money and are 3 percent of Somaliland.
