They haven't invested no $423 milions into Berbera.
A few second hand forklifts and an ancient tug boat costs less than $2 million.

The article is complete bullshit.

"Somaliland led as the investment destination for UAE in Africa followed by Egypt." That's true when it's implemented in few years time . These are the list of things we are expecting from the UAE in 2 years time.

1 . New Berbera port terminal
2 . New road from Berbera to wajaale with 7 bridges
3. An army Base with new port an airport
4. Development package including hospitals farms and business.

The road will be started next week . According to the ministry .

What's your life expectancy? Suppose you will be here next 3 years how optimistic you are that somaliland won't have the things I listed above . And what are the challenges you relying on ?

To be fair......it would benfit the entire northern region if these developments are completed.

However, I'm only going on former developments that never materialised......so you can't blame me for being skeptical.

Fake news.

If that happened I doubt there would be 750,000 people facing starvation.

In reality, DP invested in few second cranes and one water well. All the other things are just numbers on unofficial papers.
