Somaliland governments are always weak and end up forgiving them.
All the Dir Waqooyi have to say is xamar wanu ka faraxalanay, somaliland banu tageerina.
No need to do harsh punishment. Just ban them from ever entering somaliland again. Even if they are going to their mums funeral.

I think this will end the dirty woqooyi issue for good.
A new law where any Somalilander who goes to Mogadishu to hold public office falsely claiming to represent the people of Somaliland loses all of their property (land, houses, businesses... etc) is needed. We will see an immediate end to the practice. The President would give a period of 30 days for those currently in Mogadishu to sort their affairs and return, or they face the same end. You will see them lining up in Egal Int. within a week guaranteed.
Their properties, businesses and land are well known, all we need to do is put a law in place.

Because we don't have the law to confiscate their business. It's either run by other family members or It's part of Larger company owned by different groups of people.

I actually have a certain amount of respect for these guys. Other than accepting a false lineage walaweyns give them, we should have put our hands in the pot decades ago.

On a side note, the government needs to register businesses owned by foreigners, mainly from Somalia but also Kilil 5 and Djibouti. We need to monitor these foreign agents.
We have anti SL people like the owner of Gulivery making money in Somaliland. It's unacceptable!

Yes and they have agreements with some restaurants/cafes in Hargeisa where they operate.
The locals dont use Gulivery, its mainly qurbajoog types and NGO parasites.
