I have long predicted that eventually East and West sl will have to split.......although I didnt anticipate this madness.

I proposed a new constitution with sl being a confederation of two autonomous regions....east and west.

The east consists of the majority of land and minority of population.......a devolved eastern region centred around Burco, Las Anod and Ceerigabo would be able to raise its own revenues and allocate its expenditure.

Development of local resources and poverty alleviation could be best addressed with an eastern govt.

The north would still be a single entity when dealing with outsiders and be the purview of a federal govt in Hargeisa.
